EU Regulation on the Prevention of Deforestation - EU Regulation 2023/1115

At Mega Print, we view environmental sustainability and compliance with international regulations as a fundamental responsibility in our book production activities. In this regard, we are committed to fulfilling all necessary obligations under the European Union’s Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

For this reason:

Ensuring that all paper and cardboard raw materials used in our products are sourced from lands not associated with deforestation, We work with suppliers who declare full compliance with the applicable forest management, land use, and labor rights legislation of the countries where the materials are produced, and who record the origin information of wood-based raw materials at the geographic coordinate level and can verify it when necessary.

In addition;

By promoting the use of paper and cardboard containing recycled content, we are both reducing our environmental impact and minimizing the risks covered by the EUDR.

We closely monitor developments related to the EUDR, provide regular training to our staff,
and work with our suppliers to strengthen a culture of sustainability.

This policy is not merely a legal obligation for Mega Basım; it is also part of our responsibility to protect natural resources, support biodiversity, and leave a livable world for future generations.
